After retiring from her marketing position with MasterCard in 2011, Rebecca took up yoga and Pilates and began to explore other forms of movement as well.
In the course of her exploration, Rebecca became a fan of the Classical Stretch by Essentrics® program on PBS, and decided she was ready for a new challenge. She signed up for the first level of the Essentrics teacher certification program in January 2017, and went on to complete all four levels, earning her full certification as a Level 4 Essentrics instructor in October 2021.
In addition to teaching Essentrics, Rebecca volunteers as a docent at the Florence Griswold Museum and is an active alumna volunteer for Princeton University. She lives in Madison with her husband, John.
As what best would be called a ‘reluctant ‘ exerciser, I entered Rebecca’s class with some trepidation. From the very start I not only felt better, but I learned the why and how of each exercise. Essentrics lives up to the promise of a full body workout and Rebecca lives up to the ideals put forth by Essentrics’ founder. Every class she amazes: devoted, patient and kind. Take the class just to witness her positive energy!”
